How to watch movies on your DS

We use our handheld consoles for everything these days. Whether it's internet, gaming, communications, music or movies, we want it all on the go. And it's all available on pretty much any handheld device. Got a Nintendo DS and want to watch movies on it? Here's how:

First of all, you'll need an R4 or R4i card, depending on your DS model. It's a chip, the same size and format as a game, but with a slot for a microSD memory card to store things on.

If you've download your movies online from iTunes or something, or if you've ripped them from the DVD, you now need to convert them to .dpg files. You can do this easily with a small file converting program like batchdpg, which you can get free online. When you plug the the microSC for your R4 card into your computer, find the 'Movies' file and just drag and drop!
